Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lapeer, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
DESCRIPTION: Bituminous plant mix in place for cross tubes, driveway approaches and small road patches in various locations in Lapeer County. Material shall be MDOT 5EML Bituminous Mix for wearing course, MDOT 3C for base course (or approved by Engineer) when patches exceeds 26 tons, meeting Tier 1 requirements. Patches less than 26 ton shall be MDOT 4EML PG 64-28, Tier 1 or approved mix by Engineer. Removal/disposal of material in place and finish aggregate grade is responsibility of contractor. Both ends of patch must be tacked and in between layers. Material must be placed in lifts, not to exceed maximum placement, rolled and compacted between the lifts. Work must be completed within 10 days of notification of work. Traffic control signage and traffic control regulators shall be provided by the bidder; Contractor shall assume part width construction.
