Guardrail and Related Items Furnish all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and other means of construction, and for the bid price listed, install the items herein described in strict accordance with the requirement of the current Michigan Department of Transportation specifications and/or the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Michigan Department of State Highways and in accordance with Standard Plan Series and special detail. Bids must apply and be held for a period of (12) months from the bid date. This agreement may be extended for a longer time with mutual agreement by both parties. The contractor agrees that they will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment, to be employed in the performance of this contract with respect to their hire, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges of employment or any matter directly or indirectly related to employment because of their age, (except when based on a bona fide occupation qualification), or because of their race, color religion, national origin, ancestry, sex height, weight, marital status, veteran status or handicap unrelated to the ability to perform the duties of a particular job. (Act No. 251 P.A. 1955, as amended)
