Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Middlebury, Vermont. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of a 1.3mg Water Storage Tank. Performance BOND and Payment BOND each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. DESCRIPTION A. The ENGINEER will select an independent testing laboratory consultant to be employed by the ENGINEER to perform concrete and soil testing as directed by the ENGINEER. B. The ENGINEER will pay for all services performed by the independent testing laboratory consultant except for those services described in paragraph 1.02 C. C. The CONTRACTOR shall pay for all services performed by the independent testing laboratory for the following: 1. Re-testing resulting from failure of the submitted materials to meet specified standards; 2. Re-testing resulting from a change in the source of approved material; 3. Testing required for more than (1) sample when the original samples for the same material are from two (2) different sources; or, 4. Re-testing required by a change in the composition of the delivered material. Question Deadline 02/07/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing
