S.H. 276 Utility Relocations As set forth in the plans and specifications, the project is designed to complete the following approximate quantities of work: o 2,200 Linear Feet (LF) of 16-inch PVC Water Line by Open Cut o 100 LF of 24-inch PVC Water Line by Bore w/ 36-inch Steel Encasement o Thirteen (13) 16-inch Butterfly Valves o 2,200 LF of 10-inch PVC Force Main by Open Cut o 2,200 LF of 6-inch PVC Force Main by Open Cut o 1,300 LF of 8-inch PVC Sanitary Sewer by Open Cut o 120 LF of 8-inch PVC Sanitary Sewer by Bore w/ 16-inch Steel Encasement o 130 LF of 10-inch PVC Sanitary Sewer by Bore w/ 16-inch Steel Encasement o Nine (9) 4-foot or 5-foot diameter sanitary sewer manholes Bidder must submit, with their Bid, and a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City. A ten percent (10%) Maintenance Bond (2-year) is required for this project The right is reserved by the City of Rockwall to reject any and all bids.
