Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lovington, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of March 13, 2025, the project was awarded to Ramirez & Sons Inc., with an awarded amount of $1,485,856.25** The City of Lovington is proposing to add new ADA compliant sidewalks, ramps, and driveways along W. Jackson Avenue from 9th Street to 17th Street. Scope includes the widening of W. Jackson Avenue between 9th Street and 13th Street. Project scope includes surface removal, subgrade preparation, base course, hot mix, concrete work, striping, and sign installation. The Bids received will be considered by the City of Lovington at its next regular meeting or at a special meeting as may be required. Bidders will be deemed non-responsive if the Bids are received after the bid date. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness, the City of Lovington reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous thereof, or to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities.
