Site work, paving and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and for paving for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened. The Base Bid Scope of Work includes new facilities to house the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), as well as an emergency operations center, a backup dispatch center, radio communications RF shield room, computer server/networking/storage room, classroom, conference rooms, restrooms, showers, lobby, and related facilities.The building is exterior is Masonry, Metal panels, EIFS, new construction is metal studs and steel construction with TPO and Standing Seam roof systems, also includes a Pre-Engineered metal building as indicated on the drawings and in the project manual and Pre-Engineered metal building Warehouse. Base Bid Scope of work /Bid Lots are shown on AS -101, A-101 and A-107 Bid Lot #1 a Stair Tower. Site improvements include public parking and secure parking areas with access control to manage semis trucks and firetrucks access. Project site at NMSU Tortugas Trail, west of water tank, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Bidders are advised that the following is included in the contract: 1. Liquidated damage clause. 2. State Wage Rates and Federal wage rate / 3. Public Works and Apprenticeship and Training Act. 4. Five percent (5%) Preference applicable to qualified New Mexico Contractors. 5. Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be required from the Prime Contractor. 6. Contractors and all tiers of subcontractors whose bids are $60,000 or more must be registered with the Labor & Industrial Division of the New Mexico Labor Department. 7. Buy American Act COMPLIANT 8. Project site approved by FEMA and is subject to conditions outlined in EHP Review included in Project Manual, Section 003200 EHP Review. Dona Ana County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities Bids shall be goodfor 60 days following the opening of bids and may not be withdrawn without forfeiture of bid bond.
