Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,200-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Task Order award will be made on March 4th, 2025. SUMMARY OF WORK: The proposed work for the auditorium interior renovations at Gainesville High School includes, but is not limited to, the following: Removal and replacement of theater lighting and AV systems with new systems, new acoustical treatment in the auditorium, addition/reconfiguration of entry vestibules in the lobby to serve the balcony, new finishes and lighting in the lobby, new house lighting, new flooring throughout the lobby and auditorium, refinish of ceiling over balcony only, and new entry storefront. TIME OF COMPLETION. Time is of the essence. Task Order award will be made on March 4th, 2025. The Notice to Procure & Assess will be issued shortly thereafter. The Notice to Proceed will be issued on June 3rd, 2025. The Work shall be Substantially Complete no later than sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be fourteen (14) calendar days following Substantial Completion. PAYMENT/PERFORMANCE Bonds in the form prescribed by AIA Document A312, in the amount of 100% of the Task Order amount, shall be required for quotations over $200,000. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES in the amount of $500.00 per day shall be paid by qualified Offeror to SBAC in accordance with RFP #24-27.
