The Borough of Branchville is soliciting bid proposals for solid waste and recycling materials collection and disposal services for a period of up to five (5) years, to commence on May 1, 2025 and end on April 30, 2030 should the five year term be selected by the Borough of Branchville in accordance with the terms of the Uniform Bid Specifications and form of Contract prepared by the Borough. The Contract will be for a period of up to five (5) years, and the Borough may, in its sole discretion, select either a one, two, three, four or five year term for the Contract and may, at its discretion, select either a once per week or twice per week collection option. The Uniform Bid Specifications and Contract documents are available at the office of the Borough Clerk, Kathryn Leissler, 34 Wantage Avenue, Branchville, New Jersey 07826, telephone number (973) 948-4626. All bidders must comply with NJAC 17:27-1, et seq., and NJSA 10:5-31, et seq., as well as all applicable regulations adopted pursuant thereto as amended and supplemented from time to time. All bidders must comply with the Bid Submission Requirements contained in the Uniform Bid Specifications. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the Borough of Branchville in the amount of 10% of the bid (but not over $20,000.00) must accompany the bid. Alternatively, a bid bond may be submitted by the bidder's bonding company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The check or bid bond of the bidder awarded the contract will be returned after execution of the contract and delivery of the surety bond. The Borough of Branchville reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
