Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Branchville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are requested for the WELLHOUSE ADDITION & PFAS TREATMENT project in the Borough of Branchville. The principal items of work include a lump sum PFAS Treatment Removal System, internal electrical work, 4" ductile iron flanged nipples (30 units), wall demolition work (lump sum), building addition (lump sum), and a sewer manhole (1 unit), along with other items. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms as designated and required by the Specifications, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name and address, and clearly marked with the project name. Required accompanying documents include a notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit; Consent of Surety; Disclosure Statement; Bid Checklist - Administrative Documents; Certified Check or Bid Bond (not less than 10% of bid, minimum $500, maximum $20,000); Business Registration Certificate for the bidder and subcontractors; Statement of Corporate Ownership; listing of Subcontractors; Bidder's Acknowledgment of Receipt of any Notices of Revisions or Addenda; and Certification Regarding Non-Involvement in Prohibited Activities in Russia and Iran. Bidders must comply with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Compliance is also required with N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq. (Law Against Discrimination) and Affirmative Action requirements. The project includes a goal of 10% utilization of small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The project is partially funded through New Jersey wastewater treatment financing programs, and all related regulations must be followed. Applicable surety bonds must be provided by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Specifications and Forms of Bids for the approved work prepared by David B. Simmons, Jr., P.E., L.S., P.P., C.M.E., of Harold E. Pellow & Associates, Inc., and approved by the Borough Council, have been filed in the office of said Engineer at 17 Plains Road, Augusta, New Jersey 07822 (phone number 973-948-6463). The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery and to be considered must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date set for the opening of bids.
