EvergreenHealth - MRI Replacement Part A The bid is for performing all Work including furnishing and installing equipment in accordance with the bid documents, plans and specifications. This is a public works project, and therefore must comply with prevailing wage requirements. The work includes but is not limited to: The project consists of assisting the vendor to remove/replace the MRI of which, the vendor has the hoisting. The work includes Electrical, Mechanical, Painting, Flooring, Drywall, wall protection, Ceiling, and Casework. The estimated cost of construction is $550,000.00 (Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars). Each bid shall be accompanied by bid proposal security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the order of King County Hospital District No. 2 for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid proposal security. The successful bidder shall enter into a contract in accordance with the bid and furnish a performance and payment bond in an amount to be fixed by the Owner within ten (1.0) calendar days from the date of the Notice of Award letter to the successful bidder. Otherwise, the bid proposal security shall be forfeited to the Owner T he Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and no contract shall be let in excess of the estimated cost ofsuch project. No bidders may withdraw their bids after the hour set for the receipt thereof unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date and time for receipt of the bids.
