Summary From the 2024 Masterplan report for the Sprinker Recreation and Community Center, develop the design and engineering for Phase 1 of the building. Designs will be developed to construction documents sufficient for public bid. This work includes facilitating public outreach to support the design, supporting grant acquisition, and providing design documents sufficient for permitting and bidding for construction. Question Deadline 01/30/2025 at 4:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted within the County's Online Provide design and engineering services to implement Phase 1 of the 2024 Masterplan report for Sprinker Recreation Center. The work will include review of the current master plan (2024), seismic evaluation (2024), building energy model (2022), existing conditions, public input, and Parks staff input. The project will include a public process consisting of three open public meetings. The successful team will be responsible for preparing all materials for and facilitating the public meetings. It is anticipated that the first meeting will orient the public to the project and gather initial comments and concerns, the second meeting will present and gather feedback on multiple differing concepts for the major design elements, and the third meeting will be a presentation of a preferred schematic design and its major elements to confirm public consensus. Following the public process, the successful team will support grant acquisition and develop construction documents. The preferred design will be developed to be implemented into construction anticipated to begin in 2027. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submitted SOQs, and to waive as informalities any irregularities, and to contract as the best interest of the County may require. The County also may reject SOQs that are non-responsive or that are submitted by non-responsible firms. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
