Neuwoehner School Interior Renovation The District is committed to involving MBE/WBE/DBE/SDVE firms in all District projects. As such, the District has established a MBE/WBE/DBE/SDVE combined goal of 15%. This goal will become part of the specifications of the RFP package. All MBE/WBE/DBE/SDVE firms whose efforts will go towards satisfying the 15% goal must be certified by one or more of the following agencies on or before the date of the bid The scope of the project is to furnish, install, commission and place into operation an H.V.A.C. system that meets the intent of the design and the goals of the owner and users as outlined in the bid documents. The Division 23 contractor shall provide all equipment, controls, labors, sub-contractors and accessories required to install a fully operational system. All coordination between trades is the sole responsibility of the contractor. The contractors proposal shall include all items that are required by code, industry accepted practices and the standards incorporated in the performance specification. Construct work in phases to accommodate Owner's occupancy requirements during the construction period; coordinate construction schedule and operations with the Owner: 1. See Bid Form. B. The Owner intends to occupy Area B portion of the project by August 11, 2025. C. The Owner intends to occupy Area A portion of the project by November 24, 2025. 1. Architect will conduct a punch walk-thru at each Substantial Completion date. A Certificate of Substantial Completion to be issued at the end of the project after occupancy is obtained by the General Contractor from the AHJ's and all punch walk-thru's completed. Any explanation or questions regarding the Invitation to Bid or its related documents must be requested in writing by February 12 ,2025. Unauthorized contact by the bidder with other District employees regarding the Invitation to Bid may result in disqualification. Any oral communication will be considered unofficial and non-binding on the District. *As of February 19, 2025, addendum 6 has been issued.
