As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council. SCOPE OF WORK This work involves assisting City of Omaha Street Maintenance during periods of high work load and various utility projects within City of Omaha projects. This work includes but not limited to utility company excavations, street cave-in and panel repairs. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to properly perform all operations in connection with utility cut repairs at various locations within the City of Omaha. This work shall include, but is not limited to, full depth saw cuts, sub-grade preparation, placing concrete forms, placing concrete for street pavement, sidewalk, and ADA curb ramps. Payment for utility cut repair services shall be paid for at the contract unit price for those items listed in the contract. The contractor shall provide emergency repair services from April 1, 2025 until April 15, 2026 or until the engineer provides written notice that the utility cut repair services are no longer required.
