Renovation of a mixed-use development in Auburn Univ, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
SCOPE OF WORK: The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Replace cladding of exhaust stacks and replace high slope roof areas where stacks are located. In accordance with Code of Alabama, 39-2-2(a), prequalification is required for this project. For all questions or inquiries about this project, please contact: Philip Johnson, pcj0003@auburn.edu ; 334-750-4518 BONDS : A certified check or bid bond payable to Auburn University in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract. BIDS : Bids must be submitted on proposal forms or copies thereof furnished by the Architect. The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Asphalt shingle roofing for two mechanical penthouses, and recladding of the existing exhaust stacks with new MCM panels and stainless steel flashings. Sheathing repair of the existing roofs and new plywood sheathing on the exhaust stacks.
