Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lebanon, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Re-roofing at Tuckers Crossroads Elementary School, W. A. Wright Elementary School and Watertown Middle School for Wilson County Board of Education, Lebanon, Tennessee. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidders Bond (Document AIA 310 or Surety's Standard Forms are acceptable) executed by the and a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Tennessee in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the required contract will be executed and the required performance and payment bonds furnished. Said bond or check will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders as soon as the contract has been awarded, and the successful bidder as soon as he has executed the contract and furnished the necessary bonds and the contract has been executed by the owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the bid. Such bond shall be from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Tennessee. Per the request of Wilson County Schools, providers of the Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall have an "A" or better rating per the A. M. Best Rating Guide. The reprint below may not be all inclusive of all Public Acts related to Bidding Requirements. The Owner and Designer assume no responsibility for interpretation of the Public Acts. Bidders are advised to investigate legislation amendments to their satisfaction and not rely upon the re-print. Bidders are advised to consult with Bidder's Legal Counsel regarding all questions pertaining thereto. No bidder will be permitted to withdraw his bid within 60 days after the date of opening of bids. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the owner.
