Site work for a water / sewer project in Angola, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Division 3: Angola Wastewater Improvements The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, construction of Lift Station Improvements for the City of Angola. The work for this project will include: rehabilitation of two (2) existing lift stations, each separately including the work generally described as: 1. Decommissioning of the existing dry-can station a. Removal of infrastructure as shown on the drawings b. Backfilling entire remaining station with flowable fill 2. Conversion of the existing wet well into a submersible lift station a. modifications to wet well floor as indicated on drawings b. installation of submersible pumps and associated piping and hardware 3. Construction of new valve vaults with all piping, valves and appurtenances 4. Connection to existing force main 5. All associated flow control as necessary to complete the work. a. NOTE: City to provide bypass pumping equipment. Contractor to provide plugs and associated flow control devices. 6. Electrical work and control scheme modifications as described in the project manual.
