The Projects consist of, but are not necessarily limited to, construction of: Division 4: City of Angola Water Tower Rehabilitation The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the rehabilitation of the 250,000 gallon double ellipse water storage tank on Calvary Lane and the 800,000 gallon concrete reservoir on W 300 N. The Calvery Lane work will include an exterior repaint within containment, wet interior repaint, and miscellaneous repairs. The W 300 N reservoir work will include exterior architectural arch repairs, exterior overcoat, and miscellaneous repairs. A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each Contract bid. Bid security shall be forfeited if a bid is withdrawn after the time and date set for receiving bids. Upon award of the contracts but prior to the execution of the contracts between the City and the Contractor, the Contractor shall provide a one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bonds. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to reject bids that do not meet the qualifications outlined in this Notice or in the bidding documents and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding process or in any bid. The City further reserves the right to reject all bids, should the City determine, in the opinion of the City Council based on the bids received, that the contemplated cost of construction is not economically feasible. The City reserves the right to hold any or all bids or proposals for a period of not more than ninety (90) days and said bids or proposal shall remain in full force and effect during said period. The City reserves the right to reject and/or cancel any and all bids, solicitations and/or offers in whole or in part as specified in the solicitations.
