Owner: Clarion County Housing and Redevelopment Authority Project: Edenburg Court Balcony Replacements Location: 700 White Avenue, Knox, PA. 16232 Bids will be received for General Construction. Bids shall be addressed to the Clarion County Housing Authority, 8 West Main Street Clarion, Pennsylvania 16214. Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed and clearly marked "Sealed Bid for Edenburg Court Deck Repairs, ATTN: Penny Cambell" and "Date and Time". The Clarion County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening without the consent of the Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or age. In addition, the Contract will be under the requirements of Executive Order #11625 relative to new goals and timetables and Section III of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and where applicable. The Clarion County Housing Authority solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation. MBE's will be afforded full consideration of their responses and will not be subjected to discrimination. Bidders will be required to comply with the Authority's MBE Program Goal requirements where applicable. Question Deadline 02/12/2025 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. Oral requests must be confirmed in writing.
