Site work for a water / sewer project in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Illick Hall Vacuum Pump Replacement The two wet vacuum pumps that serve Illick Hall laboratory hoods and equipment shall be replaced with a new dry type vacuum pump system with integral tank, pumps and control panel. The current five horsepower wet vacuum pumps are in a basement mechanical room of Illick Hall. These pumps are original to the building, circa 1968, and have been repaired numerous times over the years. The building has been down to one pump that serves the entire building for several years now as one of the pumps is beyond repair. New pumps shall operate in a lead/lag sequence. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids
