Roof Recover-Group A for Henry County Schools - Roof Recover - Group A: Stockbridge High School, 1151 Old Conyers Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281; Luella High School, 603 Walker Drive, Locust Grove, GA 30248; Luella Middle School, 2075 Hampton Locust Grove Road, Locust Grove, GA 30248, Georgia, Henry County, Georgia. Stockbridge High School scope includes removal of existing storefront systems from towers, installing new sill pans, and reinstalling storefront. Luella High and Middle Schools scope consist of the application of new thermoplastic-polyolefin (TPO) roofing system, on new cover board, over the existing modified-bitumen roof system. Removal of existing gutters, downspouts, expansion joint covers, roof edging is required for new installation. New metal gutter and downspouts, along with new metal roof edge, metal expansion joint covers, and HVAC duct flashing is to be installed. Where damaged existing roof insulation has been found, it will be required to be removed and replaced with a new polyisocyanurate board insulation. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% ofthe Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Only a bid submitted by a Bidder on record with the Architect as having received plans and specifications from the Architect will be opened.
