The Project includes the following Work: 1. Site Work a. Site utilities (including water, sewer, stormwater management, and electric), and site amenities (benches, signage, trash bins, and picnic tables). b. Concrete sidewalks including ADA compliant transitions and detectable warning surfaces. c. Grading d. Landscaping, planting, topsoil, seed and mulch. 2. Parking lot improvements a. Barrier free parking spaces b. Parking striping c. ADA compliant transitions to sidewalks and walkways. 3. Splashpad a. Approximately 1,000 sqft splash pad including miscellaneous water play features as installed by Penchura, LLC. 65 ft seat wall b. Recirculation system and mechanical building as installed by Penchura, LLC. c. 4. Playground Replacement a. Equipment replacement and expansion including b. Approximately 2,300 sqft of safety surfacing c. Seating area with shade sail 5. Prefabricated Restroom a. Approximately 290 sqft prefabricated restroom facility with three bathrooms and mechanical room with ADA and barrier free compliance b. Diaper changing tables c. ADA compliant outdoor shower, and associated amenities. d. Tamper resistant hose bib and drinking fountain e. Plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and lighting services and connections to be supplied by contractor. 6. Basketball court a. Resurfacing and paint striping. 7. Skate park improvements a. Including chain link fence with gates. 8. Restoration Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount and form as specified by the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Bids not accompanied by a proper Bid bond or certified check in the amount stated in the documents, or received after the above date and time will not be considered. Fax transmittals of Bids or Bid bonds will not be accepted. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Manton , negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
