Renovation of an educational facility in Suffolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Suffolk Public Schools is soliciting lump sum, sealed bids for the SPS Innovation Center. The project is located at 4169 Pruden Blvd., Suffolk, VA 23434. The scope of work consists of the conversion of an existing facility with the primary function of daycare to an administrative/office use. This change constitutes a change of occupancy from an "E" occupancy to a "B" occupancy, and includes the addition of new partitions, ceilings, interior finish upgrades, and associated plumbing, mechanical, and electrical modifications. Additionally, the building envelope will be modified where 2 existing roll-up doors will be infilled with a combination of new exterior walls and glazing.
