A timeline for construction has not yet been established, but likely won't be until at least the end of 2026. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* In accordance with RCW 39.80 the Bellevue School District is seeking architectural services for construction of a replacement school for 6-12 International School. At this point, we are moving forward with a Phased Plan and are seeking architectural services for Phase 1. Phased 1 services will include the collection and development of Educational Specifications, project design, permitting, construction documents, and the responsibility for all associated documentation. This project will replace an existing 88,000 SF building with a completely new ~130,000 SF facility, including a new PAC. o The demonstrated ability to conduct and provide the Educational Specifications for a secondary school in a reasonable time frame. Please describe your plan for the EdSpec process. o The demonstrated ability to develop schematic design and basic design development documents to the 35% completion level to begin the pre-application process with the City of Bellevue by Spring 2026. Submittal must cite specific examples of a school project along with owner contact information. o A list of specific sub-consultants that expect to be part of your team and why these firms are best suited for this project. o Recent work within the City of Bellevue and experience with CofB design review and permitting is strongly recommended.
