Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in West Union, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The approximate quantities of work may include the demolition of an existing sewage pump station and one (1) new sewage pump station and related appurtenances. All work summarized below shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 210 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. All questions must be submitted to CEC in writing by 12:00 PM (NOON), local prevailing time, on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2025. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Town of West Union in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractors License as per Section of the West Virginia Code The Town of West Union reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A bidder may not withdraw the Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of bid
