Prebid questions will not be accepted shall be submitted via email only to: Ms. Irma Vasquez at IVasquez@pw.lacounty.gov. Question Deadline 02/17/2025 at 5:00 PM PT The work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The contract price will be $5,250,000 and shall be for one year or until $5,250,000 of work orders have been completed, whichever occurs first. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or C-12 contractor's license. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least $525,000 to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond in the amount of $5,250,000, a payment bond in the amount of $5,250,000, liability insurance, automobile insurance, and worker's compensation insurance with the contract. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to a responsible contractor with the lowest responsive bid; however, the Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
