Renovation of a municipal facility in Dover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 68,554-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
A summary of bids received will be displayed on online one (1) month after bid opening, the time of which is listed in the Invitation to Bid. It should be noted that bid results are subject to further review and should not be construed as issuance of an award. The Dover Township Board of Supervisors has authorized mulá group to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Dover Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Dover Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Additional documents to be provided by each bidder with their bid are Contractor Integrity, Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor, Non-Discrimination Clause, and Contractor Qualifications Statement. Question Deadline 02/07/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Online Portal Notice is given that this construction work, for which bids are being solicited, is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project is 365 calendar days. Dover Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids and to waive, at its discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto. Existing Conditions: Notify Architect of existing site conditions differing from those indicated on the drawings. Do not remove or alter structural components without prior written approval. E. Coordination 1. Coordinate the work of all trades. 2. Prepare coordination drawings for areas above ceilings where close tolerances are required between building elements and mechanical and electrical work and submit to design team for review. 3. Verify location of utilities and existing conditions. F. Installation Requirements, General 1. Inspect substrates and report unsatisfactory conditions in writing. 2. Do not proceed until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. 3. Take field measurements prior to fabrication where practical. Form to required shapes and sizes with true edges, lines, and angles. Provide inserts and templates as needed for work of other trades. 4. Install materials in exact accordance with manufacturer's instructions and approved submittals. 5. Install materials in proper relation with adjacent construction and with proper appearance. 6. Restore units damaged during installation. Replace units which cannot be restored, with no additional expense to the Owner. 7.
