The CMAR Services shall entail the provision of planning, design and construction administration services related to the City's anticipated Tower #2, that will provide public safety radio communications for the geographic area the radio communication site serves and integrates to the Regional Wireless Cooperative (RWC). The City of Surprise Information Technology Department invites all qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the design and construction of a communication tower. The project site will be at the Water Resource Management Department's Special Planning Area 1 (SPA 1) located at 11401 N. 136 th Avenue, Surprise, AZ 85379. The City is interested in receiving Statements of Qualifications for this project component that meets the following requirements, Offerors are encouraged to utilize any means and methods available to deliver a Communications Tower as specified herein. City has received a "DETERMINATION OF NO HAZARD TO AIR NAVIGATION" letter issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for this project. Upon successful contract aware the contractor will be expected to acquire, deliver, install, and successfully commission systems which makeup a public safety communications site. This will include, but not limited to a tower structure, a communications shelter, electrical, exterior and interior communication shelter components, and radio frequency components (RFC) along with filing any and all related fees for local, state, and federal permits.
