As of January 20, 2026, an architect has been selected, and this project is in the design phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000373928 Delivery Point: Englewood Recreation Center The City of Englewood Parks, Recreation, Golf and Library Department ("the City" or "City") is soliciting Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified consultants ("Proposer") from qualified design firms interested in providing professional design services for the renovation and expansion of the Englewood Recreation Center. as defined in the 2016 Recreation Master Plan update. Design services will require different tasks on parallel timelines but will generally consist of design services, 70% and 100% construction drawings, site surveys, and engineered estimates. This project aims to modernize the facility, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes and standards. The Consultant submitting the question(s) shall be responsible for ensuring the question(s) is received by the City prior to the deadline to submit questions regardless of the method of delivery.
