This contract will upgrade the existing odor control system in the Equalization and Blend (E&B) Facility (Building 257). The Contractor will remove existing equipment and install new equipment, including a building extension to house the new equipment Obtain all construction permits from City of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin agencies. Submit information as required to obtain these permits. Construct a building extension to the odor control room in the E&B Facility to house the new odor control equipment, including all architectural and structural components, utilities, lighting, HVAC, instrumentation and control, and electrical improvements. Remove the existing carbon adsorption unit, carbon adsorption unit temperature probes, odorous air differential pressure transmitter, local control panel, and any other instrumentation and appurtenances associated with the existing carbon adsorption unit in the E&B Facility odor control room as shown on the Plans. Remove selected odorous air ducting and piping in the odor control room and on the E&B Facility roof as shown in the Plans. Install new odor control system including a bioscrubber, carbon adsorption unit, instrumentation, pumps, panels, odorous air piping, and appurtenances as indicated in the Plans and as specified in Section 11367, Odor Control System. Provide new electrical conduit and conductors to equipment. Provide new instrumentation and control equipment. Provide HVAC modifications and control upgrades in Building 257. Painting and labeling of piping, mechanical and electrical equipment as defined in the Specifications.
