The project scope includes but is not limited to the full reconstruction of eight (8) tennis courts includingpavement, fencing, court surfacing, and netting systems Bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for work and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified checkon a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota, or a bidder s bond made payable without conditions to theRedwood Area School District #2897, in an amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid.The successful bidder must be a responsible contractor. A prime contractor, subcontractor, or motor carrier that makes a false statement underoath verifying compliance with the minimum criteria will be ineligible to be awarded a construction contract onthe project, and the submission of a false statement may result in termination of a contract awarded to a primecontractor, subcontractor, or motor carrier that submits the false statement. A prime contractor shall include inits verification of compliance a list of all of its first-tier subcontractors that it intends to retain for work on theproject. Before execution of a construction contract, a prime contractor shall submit a supplemental verificationunder oath confirming that all subcontractors and motor carriers that the prime contractor intends to use toperform project work have verified to the prime contractor, through a signed statement under oath by an owneror officer, that they meet the minimum criteria for a responsible contractor.The School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received withoutexplanation.
