The proposed work includes the construction of a new 85-0 single-span, steel I-girder bridge with steel piling (14 round CIP, galvanized), concrete abutments, w-beam railing, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven (7) days prior to the bid opening date. All bids shall be submitted as a hard copy. The Greene County Highway Department assumes no liability for mailed or shipped bids failing to arrive prior to the closing of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
