Renovation of an educational facility in Edison, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,250-square-foot educational facility.

Interior Alterations at Edison High School The Work consists of : ALTERATION: Approximately 250 sf of the main entry lobby will be converted into a security office to monitor and admit visitors through a secure vestibule. The exterior sidewalks surrounding the main entry will allow greater accessibility and access to a new transaction window. RENOVATION: Approximately 12,000 sf of renovations and upgrades including interior wall and ceiling finishes, doors, lighting, and technology in corridors and the cafeteria. Bids will be rendered in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architect's Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday. The Owner and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C009 General Contractor/ Additions and Alterations Each bidder must deposit with their Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute) as amended from time to time, Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.-NJAC 12:60), the American with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and with any and all New Jersey Statutes not specified herein. All contractors are subject to background checks. Refer to Section B - Instructions to Bidders for additional information. The Edison Township Public Schools Reserves the Right to Reject Any Non Responsive Bid or All Bids Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-22. Or to Award a Lump Sum Contract, in Such a Manner as Shall Be, in the Judgment of the Board of Education, to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder, All in Conformity With the Law.
