City/County Piatt County Extension of existing box culvert on upstream and downstream face along with guardrail removal and installation Project Location: County Highway 9 1.75 miles east of Galesville, IL Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764. ILDOT - Extension of Existing Box Culvert The work included in this contract consists of: (1) the removal of the existing guardrail, (2) grading, (3) aggregate shoulders, earth embankment widening and ditches, (4) installation of riprap and reinforced concrete box culvert extensions, (5) seeding and other collateral work necessary to complete the improvement in accordance with the plans and as specified herein.
