Renovation of a water / sewer project in Brevard, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Pump Station Rehabilitation and Replacement Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be received in writing to Richard Rudin, PE, at rudinrj@cdmsmith.com at least fourteen days before the date set herein for the opening of bids. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Per source the estimated is around $3,000,000 to $4,000,000.
