Site work and renovation of a civil project in Brevard, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed project is to replace the following items at the City of Brevard WTP: clear well, transfer pumps, finish water pumps, backwash pumps, generator, associate piping and valves, and electrical controls. The new clear well to be .080MG, finish water pumps to be 1,800 GPM, transfer pumps to be 1,800 GPM and 3,600 GPM backwash pump. Generator to be sized to power water treatment plant completely with an automatic transfer switch. Location: At Cathey's Creek Water Plant Bid Security: A 5% bid security is required for this project. Contractors offering a bid on the project must be licensed to perform Utility work in the State of North Carolina in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes and the General Requirements of the NCDEQ, SRF Contract Special Conditions. The contractor will be required to provide proof of work successfully performed of similar type as this project. Award Requirements: The project will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest bid total. Upon award of the project, the successful bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds, and proof of general liability and workman's compensation insurance for this project. Withdraw of Bid and Informalities: No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. This project is funded with ARPA funds. Both bid and post bid submittals to meet all MBE/WBE requirements apply to this project.
