Bids will only be accepted from BIDDERS who are prequalified as a General Contractor by the City of Louisville City Engineer, and who are recorded by Rocky Mountain Bid System and by the City Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. City of Louisville Pre-qualification forms must be received at the office of the City Engineer by close of business (5:00 p.m.) Tuesday, February 5, 2025. Pre-qualification forms received after this date and time are not guaranteed to be approved by the required date. Question Deadline 02/07/2025 at 12:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to ENGINEER. Interpretation or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued only by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Prebid Conference: This meeting will be held virtually. Representatives of the City will be present to discuss the Project. Prospective BIDDERS are invited to attend and present their questions relative to this Bid at this conference. Attendance at this pre-bid conference will be required to submit a Bid. Failure to attend will result in result in the rejection of the bid. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid security consisting of a properly Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of BIDDER's Total Bid Price, without conditions, payable to the City of Louisville. Bid security will be retained by the City until the seventh day after the Effective Date of the Agreement whereupon Bid security furnished by such Bidders will be returned. Bid security with Bids, which are not competitive, will be returned within fourteen days after the Bid opening. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by such Bid security. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond to the City of Louisville guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The City of Louisville reserves the right to award the contract by sections, to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
