This is an Invitation to Bid for the Fac/Ops Insulated Rollup Doors Project. This project requires license B-General Contractor License. Vendor is responsible for downloading all applicable documents included in this bid event. The estimated budget for this project is $120,000.00 dollars. This is a CUPCCA bid for pre-qualified CUPCCA contractors. Vendor technical questions must be submitted via email to Tim Bell at tbell@santarosa.edu on or before February 5, 2025, at 3 pm, if an addendum is required it will be issued no later than February 10, 2025. The Bidder's Bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the district, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the vendor's response. These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college district. Sonoma County Junior College shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed. It shall be the vendor's responsibility to verify the validity of all bid information received by sources other than those listed. Time of completion for this project is Ninety (90) working days from NTP and Liquidated damages are $100 per day. General Project Description: • Provide bid for Installing eight (8) new rollup doors at the above location. Scope of Work: 1. The doors to be replaced will be numbered 1 thru 8 going from north to south on the shops building in the facilities maintenance yard. 2. Furnish and install eight (8) steel rolling doors, with large insulated slates, 22-gauge steel. 3. Grey in color 4. Bottom of the curtain to be reinforced by an extruded aluminum or steel foot piece. 5. All doors to be chain operated and located nearest man doors to the room. 6. Guides and brackets to be factory specific to door manufacture, galvanized or coated metal. 7. Add pass through door to the following. Handle hardware to be provided by SRJC Door - 2 8. Installer to provide all the necessary lift equipment and ladders for the installations. 9. Two-year warranty on installation, craftsmanship and materials. 10. Remove and haul away old doors.
