S 18th Ave (Michigan to Rhode Island) and Delaware St (6th to 8th) can begin any time after the frost is out of the ground. Memorial Dr is expected to be ready following gas line work by May 1. Erie St, N 7th Ave and N 7th Pl are expected to be ready following gas line work by June 1. Florida St (18th to 19th) as well as Florida St & N 17th Dr are estimated to be ready following gas line work by July 1. Delaware St (3rd to 6th Reconstruct area) is expected to be ready by July 1. All projects are to be completed by August 30, 2025 (weather permitting). This work includes: 2,867 LF - New Concrete Curb & Gutter 9,081 SF - New Concrete Sidewalk, Apron, or Driveway 2,050 LF - Remove & Replace Concrete Curb & Gutter 12,887 SF - Remove & Replace Conc. Sidewalk, Apron, or Driveway 23 EA - Inlet Casting Height Adjustment Misc. Concrete Spillway Removals & Replacements Misc. Lawn Restoration Along with other misc. items that accompany these types of projects. The City of Sturgeon Bay reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or accept the bid proposal most advantageous to the City. No bid proposal shall be withdrawn without the consent of the Board of Public Works for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of closing bid proposals. No bid proposal will be received unless accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least 5% (five percent) of the bid proposal (payable to the City of Sturgeon Bay) as a guarantee, and if their bid proposal is accepted, the Contractor will execute and file the Contract and Bond forming a part of the specifications within 10 (ten) days after the award of the Contract. The Delaware Street component of this project (from N 6th Ave to N 8th Ave) is part of the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP Project No. 19197). The Memorial Drive component of this project (from S 9th Ave to Utopia Circle) is part of the Local Road Improvement Program - LRIP Project No. 19207). Prevailing wage rates are not required for this project.
