Site work for a civil project in Cheraw, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and in the Sewer Collection System as outlined below. Bidders may bid either or both Divisions. Division 2-Base Bid-90HP pump replacement at PS#3, PS#1 90 HP pump replacement w/ imps to controls, new soft start, guiderail support replacement and by-pass connection addition. Alternate Bids-2nd 90 Pump replacement at PS#1, PS#1 bridge crane removal, 750 lf 8" GS, 2" FM and grinder PS Each Bid must be accompanied by a 5% bid security in the proper form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of each successful Bidder. In accordance with Section 40-11-100 of the SC Code, Bids will be accepted only from properly licensed contractors for all general contracts costing $30,000 or more and all mechanical contracts costing $17,500 or more. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding and to reject all Bids if it is in the Owner's best interest to do so.
