Reference Number 0000374207 Job Location: Boulder This contract (package four) is for Chilled Water Service only. There is currently no CHW service to the NBC neighborhood. This project will deliver campus CHW, including CHW supply and return piping that will connect to the Main Campus chilled water system via CHW lines just north of Colorado Avenue, about 300 feet west of Folsom Street. The piping will be installed along the north side of Colorado Avenue turning north just west of Folsom Street and travel north along Folsom Street to the southwest corner of Folsom Street and Stadium Drive. The lines will be bored to the north across Boulder Creek to campus Parking Lot 169, continuing underground through the NBC neighborhood and tie into CHW piping in 20th Street to the east of the Residence One Hall site. The piping will be sized in this project to have the ability to deliver chilled water for any future development in the NBC neighborhood and service existing NBC facilities if desired. The scope of services will include assistance to the State during the process of assessment, design, construction, and warranty period. Specific tasks to be performed by the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) include those generally performed by the CM/GC construction community where the Construction Manager is also the Contractor. A sample copy of the State's CM/GC contract is contained within the RFP. A Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will be required at the completion of Design Development phase.
