**As of February 18 , 2025, This project has been awarded to Building Solutions, LLC for $2,383,508.10.** THE UNDERSIGNED BIDDER, having examined the plans, specifications, general and special conditions, and other proposed contract documents, and all addenda thereto; and being acquainted with and fully understanding (a) the extent and character of the work covered by this proposal; (b) the location, arrangement, and specified requirements of the proposed work; (c) the locations, character, and condition of existing streets, roads, highways, railroads, pavements, surfacings, walks, driveways, curbs, gutters, trees, sewers. utilities, drainage courses and structures, and other installation, both surface and underground, which may affect or be affected by the proposed work; (d) the nature an extent of the materials to be excavated; (e) local conditions relative to labor, transportation, hauling, and rail delivery facilities, and (f) all other factors and conditions affecting or which may be affected by the work. All work completed within 210 calendar days or by March 21st, 2025, whichever is earlier. All requests for interpretation shall be submitted to the Engineer by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6th, 2025. Answers will be placed on the web site by 11:30 a.m. the following Friday. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid amount. A. Performance Bond: A performance bond to the Owner, in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract. B. Statutory Bond: A statutory bond to the State of Kansas in amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgement, is the lowest and best bid; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. Bids received after the specified time of closing shall be returned unopened.
