Site work and paving for a civil project in Dodge City, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City has been awarded a KDOT CCLIP (SP) project for the section of US 56 and the Trail St. Intersection described above. A much larger reconstruction project is anticipated for this section of US 56 and the Trail St. intersection. The overlay is to prolong the life and provide a smoother ride until reconstruction takes place. Services to be completed under this agreement include but are not limited to: o Design of a three (3") Overlay of the existing concrete pavement on US 56 from Trail St. to the south side of BNSF Railroad Overpass Bridge, includes all of the Trail St. intersection, see drawing below. o Meet with the Engineering Staff to review Bid Items, Quantities, and location in the Project and on Plans prior to bidding. o Develop Bid Documents per KDOT standards and Assist the City with the Bidding of the project. o The Consultant will act as the City's LPA and will be responsible for meeting all KDOT requirements for plan design and bidding of the CCLIP (SP) Project. o The Consultant will also provide inspection services for the project and be required to submit the necessary documentation during construction to KDOT. o The Consultant will also help with the reimbursement request(s) to KDOT. The City anticipates the following items and quantities for the project. o Rock Excavation - 150 CY o Pavement Markings - 33.0 STAL o Patching - 25 TON o Bituminous Surfacing - 3,300 TON It is estimated there will be 30 calendar days for construction.
