The City of West Haven is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide Overhead Door Repair Services for City-owned facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for repair, maintenance, and replacement of overhead doors on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Inspection and Diagnosis o Conduct inspections to identify issues with overhead doors. o Provide detailed reports and recommendations for repairs. 2. Repair and Maintenance o Perform necessary repairs on overhead doors, including but not limited to: Tracks, rollers, and hinges. Springs and tension cables. Door panels and hardware. Motorized and manual door systems. Safety sensors and controls. o Provide preventative maintenance services as requested. 3. Replacement of Components o Supply and install replacement parts or components as needed. o Ensure all replacement materials meet or exceed industry standards. 4. Emergency Services o Respond to emergency repair requests within a specified timeframe (to be defined in the bid submission). 5. Safety Standards o Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and local building codes.
