Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Trinidad, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Santa Fe Trail Ranch (SFTR) owns and maintains 83.1 miles of gravel roads year around. This includes grading, road base application, water line excavation repair, culvert maintenance and installation and snow plowing. In the event of an above average snow fall, a second operator will be available to assist in clearing roads. Road maintenance will be performed as described in the US DOT Gravel Roads Design and Maintenance Manual and as directed by the SFTR appointed Liaison person. Contract will be for 3 years with provision for extension. Contractor is to provide one qualified equipment operator who will be available 5 days every week and additionally if required by circumstances. The followingminimum equipment will be provided and kept on sitefull time: Two John Deere 772 motor graders or equivalent One 410 John Deere Loader Backhoe or equivalent One single axle dump truck with snowplow One single axle dump truck with snowplow LIST OF CONTRACTOR FEES; All work will be reported weekly, detailing equipment used and work accomplished. Billing and payment will be monthly. Contractor will provide a list of hourly rates for eachpiece of equipment and for manual work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
