The Scope of Work generally includes the elevator modernization at 345 Lebreton Street South., Ottawa, ON as further defined in the attached specification and drawing package by RIA. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1.1. To complete the modernization of the one (1) passenger elevator at 345 Lebreton Street South, Ottawa, Ontario. 1.2. Install CAT5e-Equivalent Travelling Cable complete with connectors/termination. 1.3. The building does not have a suspended access system that may be used for the execution of this project by the Contractor. However, please note: 1.3.1. The existing roof anchors are not currently certified for use. All costs required to facilitate the work and associated with reviewing, testing and certifying the roof anchors for use on this Project shall be carried as part of this Contract at no additional cost to OCH. 1.3.2. The Respondent/ Contractor is responsible for reviewing the existing roof anchors, rigging drawings and reports to determine the adequacy of the system to facilitate the completion of Work. Where the existing roof anchor layout is inadequate, the Contractor is responsible for supplying and installing additional anchors as required to facilitate the completion of work, including applicable engineering costs. All costs associated with providing additional anchors shall be carried as part of the Contract at no additional cost to OCH. Bid Amount under $500,000: no performance or L&MP security is required Bid Amount above or equal to $500,000: 50% of the value of the Bid Amount plus HST.
