The objective of this request for proposals is to secure a contract with an entity to replace the security camera system at the SCECC. For the purposes of this RFP, "replace" shall mean replacing necessary components, installing additional components, and removing non-working or obsolete components. The Sumner County Emergency Communications Center (SCECC) is soliciting proposals for the upgrade of a security camera system at the facility located at 253 Airport Road in Gallatin, Tennessee. The SCECC is a consolidated public safety answering point operating in a hardened facility capable of withstanding severe weather including tornados. The SCECC operates twenty-four hours each day, seven days each week receiving emergency and non-emergency phone calls and dispatches resources for police, fire, and medical responders. The SCECC currently has a video surveillance system that has been in place since 2017 with on-premise storage, cameras inside and outside of the building, and intercoms with visual and audio capability at two gates and one door. The SCECC is seeking a cost-effective, modern replacement to the existing system to include cameras, on-premise storage, the option of back-up storage, software to operate the system, installation, and training of personnel on the use of the system.
