Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fairmont, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Marion County Board of Education is requesting bids from qualified architectural and engineering firms to draw up blueprints and specifications for secure entrances at selected Marion County Schools to possibly be extended to most Marion County Schools in the future. In addition, some of these secure entrances are funded by the West Virginia School Building Authority and will need to follow their guidelines. Marion County Schools reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and/or items and to award the contract in whole as deemed to be in the best interest of Marion County Schools. Marion County Schools reserves the right to negotiate further with any contractor if such an action is deemed in the best interest of Marion County Schools. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
