Questions Due Date: Jan 31st 2025, 5:00 PM EST Online - Q&A Project Description: The Cayman Islands Government ("CIG"), through the Ministry of Tourism and Ports, invites prospective bidders to submit proposals for the construction of a new Youth Centre, as outlined in Section A of the Procurement Particulars (Appendix A) (the "Deliverables"). The project involves the construction of a 1,400-square-foot Youth Centre (Building I) located at Block 14C & Parcel J19, which is part of the broader Central Scranton Park Project. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: - Construction of the Youth Centre (Building I), approximately 1,400 square feet. - Installation of associated Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Fire Safety systems. - Construction of ramps and stairs for building accessibility. - External works, including the supply and installation of a septic tank and all necessary pipework. Business Objective: The Central Scranton Park is located on Block 14CJ Parcels 19, 23, 125, 126, 182(part), 190, and 192 in George Town Central (see below map). The key objective of the CSP project are to: To establish a National Park for the Cayman Islands; To provide a central access to recreational opportunities for the people of the Cayman Islands; To provide an environmental green space that protects and conserves the biodiversity of the capital of George Town as its urban development expands; and To provide a public open space for current and future generations Scope of Works: The project involves the construction of a 1,400-square-foot Youth Centre (Building I) located at Block 14C & Parcel J19, which is part of the broader Central Scranton Park Project.
