Site work for a mixed-use development in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Electrical Replacement Phase 2 – Substation D Project includes the following work: • Installation of a new, Owner-furnished prefabricated electrical building and two (2) Owner-furnished 12kV-480V pad-mounted transformers, including new equipment and building pads, Civil site work, cast-in-place concrete building landings, sidewalk, trenching, and excavation; • Owner-furnished Electrical building, Owner-furnished 12kV-480V transformers, and appurtenances offloading, placement, and anchorage; • Electrical duct bank, manual transfer switch, utility vault, conduits and 12kV electrical feeders installation; • Intercepting, splicing and pulling existing feeders and controls from old Substation D switchgear, motor control centers, and PLC panel; and terminating inside the new prefabricated electrical building; • Asphalt concrete paving and related site improvements; • Repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for a complete and usable facility within the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District’s Wastewater Treatment Plant; COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be completed within four hundred fiftysix (456) calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. BID SECURITY: Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond executed by a California admitted surety insurer in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price payable to the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer OWNER as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will execute the Agreement within 14 calendar days after receipt of the agreement forms from OWNER, and will furnish the insurance certificates and endorsements, Payment Bond, and Performance Bond required by the Contract Documents within such 14 days. PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS: The Bidders are advised that the Contract Documents require a payment bond and a performance bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Price, to be written by California admitted surety insurers.
