Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Morton Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Morton Grove Park District will receive sealed bids for the 2024 Morton Grove Park District Various Parks Basket ball Courts and Tennis Courts Improvements Project. The project includes removal and replacement of existing asphalt paved basket ball and tennis courts as well as parking lots at Jacobs Park,National Park, Oriole Park, and Prairie View Park,which are all in Morton Grove, Illinois. Pavement improvements include complete removal and replacement of the pavement section. Additional improvements include removal and replacement of concrete paving, new fencing, new equipment, storm sewer installation, as well as land scape restoration. A Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond payable to the Morton Grove Park District for not less than ten (10) percent of the total bid amount will be required for each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for the total Contract Amount. Bids will be considered firm for a period of ninety (90) days. The Morton Grove Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions of bids/portions of work and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public interest. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids.Successful contract bidders are also encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing asphalt paved tennis courts and basketball courts at Jacobs Park, National Park, Oriole Park, and Prairie View Park. Other improvements include removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, regrading, landscape restoration, new storm sewer, storm water pollution prevention and erosion control measures, new athletic equipment, etc. All new pathways and paving have been designed to meet ADA standards and are expected to be constructed to meet ADA standards. The contractor must use all measures necessary to ensure that proposed improvements have been installed to meet ADA requirements.
